Second COVID-19 death in four days
The Camden County Department of Health reported today that the death of a Haddonfield resident — a male in his 80s — has been attributed to the novel coronavirus. This is the second local death reported in four days and brings to 13 the total number of Haddonfield residents whose deaths have been attributed to COVID-19.
The total number of cases for Haddonfield now stands at 510 — about 1 in 23 residents. The school district has reported 147 cases: 111 children and 36 adults.
The Haddonfield death was one of 11 county-wide that the health department reported today. The county tally now stands at 1,079. A total of 39,857 cases have been reported county-wide, representing 1 in 13 of population (based on the 2010 Census).
