Election Basics
The governing body for the Borough of Haddonfield is the Board of Commissioners. It is composed on three residents, elected by the registered voters of Haddonfield, who serve concurrent, four-year terms.
The next election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
CANDIDATES
To become a candidate, a resident must meet certain qualifications and submit valid petitions signed by registered voters of Haddonfield equal to at least 1% of the number of registered voters at the November 2020 general election. For the May 11 election, the number of valid petitions required is 1% of 10,589 = 106. (Prospective candidates should file more than that number, in case some are ruled invalid.)
The deadline for submitting petitions is Monday, March 8, 2021.
